The Nicholas Negroponte's project of $100 laptops for children in developing countries will be real by the end of 2006. A million units will be made, and some countries have yet accepted the challenge, as Argentina, Thailand, Egypt, China and Brazil, and Chile keeps out of this initiative, the reason: wait and see.
